"Who” is but the form following the function of “what,” and what I am is a gamer. I am a writer by trade. I currently spend my time at one of my two jobs and I am always looking for more to do. My current full-time vocation is as the lead creative writer at a national K-12 mass telecommunications company called ParentLink. In addition to this, I maintain a resume writing and consultation side business. Both occupations afford me opportunities aplenty to ply my trade(s), though I do look for additional writing projects on the side to pass the time.

I’ve got a good sense of humor, albeit a slightly quirky one. Comes with the territory of being something of a nerd (an attribute that works in my favor since my full-time job is in a company dominated by Trekkies and WoWers). While I myself am not a Trekkie (never have been) or a WoWer (been clean for several years), I do still play PC games and attend the occasional D&D game.

I am a movie nut. I have hundreds of movies and TV shows and I like to quote them. My brothers and I have been known to have Monty Python quote conversations. Big points if you can quote that intelligibly.

I am a casual gamer. While I've played the majority of games that have come out, don't expect me to be perfect at all of them. For example, I wasn't the top BE pally on my server for WoW, I just got to 70 first. I mostly play PC games because that's how father dearest raised his kids. I'm not adverse to consoles, I just don't have one. I prefer fantasy genre games (Assassin's Creed, Dragon Age, Neverwinter Nights), but I also like stuff outside (Fallout, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead). I love gaming and like hanging around people that share that sentiment.

I love to write fiction. I likewise love reading (again, fantasy fiction). You name the book and I have likely read it. I like camping and hiking and plan on going to Yellowstone this summer with some friends (used to be a tour guide up in those parts).
