Engage Elevator pitch: 3…2...1…go:

Having just spent the 6 years at MIT for undergrad and grad school in aerospace engineering, I’ve moved to CO to join a cool company that’s developing a crewed space vehicle. Although I really enjoy my job, I eventually want to start my own company, but that’s down the road. I’ve lived up and down the East Coast my whole life (save a couple summers in LA), so I’m looking forward to seeing what Colorado and, in particular, the Denver and Boulder areas, have to offer.

Outside of work, I get bored easily, so I like to keep myself busy and try out new things. This can vary from a new sport or game to a new restaurant (or type of food, entirely) to trying to develop a new skill to something completely out-there (cough…online dating). I also direct an annual space conference, so that keeps me occupied too. I’m definitely open to trying out some new things around here.

Besides the above, probably the other two things that people tend to notice about me are my sarcastic sense of humor and that I’m very direct and honest. The first time I watched an episode of “House” was after I was told that his one-liners reminded her of what I’d say. That said, TV shows/movies that align most closely with my sense of humor are “Arrested Development”, “Futurama”, “Airplane!”, and “Seinfeld”.
