I increasingly favor Apple Macbooks, but still use

I increasingly favor Apple Macbooks, but still use This section suggests describing what computer i use and how i use it. I have probably a half dozen desktop PCs, but I live off the grid here in Calaveras County and it is not practical to use anything that draws a lot of energy, so I usually use one of 3 laptops. I am currently studying for a CAS certification (Certified Addictions Specialist) for counseling in social model recovery commuynities, and use laptops in class as I have a central vision loss and it is difficult to read standard printed text. Most all my written communication has been via computer for over a decade now. I currently have a Gateway 15.4" laptop with Vista OS, a Dell 17" with XP Pro media edition and another Gateway 15.4" with XP Pro on it as well. I use the Dell for music and video presentations, etc. and it is the easiest for me to work with visually, but it has a smaller hard drive than the Gatways. Such is life and technology...
